Multilingual Civic Orientation
Our organization provides professional and legally compliant integration and multilingual civic orientation training for immigrants and newcomers across Finland.
All programs are designed in accordance with the Act on the Promotion of Immigrant
Integration (681/2023, in force 1 January 2025) and the Government Decree on Multilingual
Civic Orientation (576/2024).
Each course combines official civic education content, practical life skills, and cultural
understanding, helping participants build confidence, independence, and active participation
in Finnish society. All services are available nationwide and can be delivered in person,
online, or in blended form (as appropriate for the client).

Training is available in Finnish, English, and additional languages, including: Arabic,

Comprehensive Civic Orientation Training (70 hours)
Our Comprehensive Civic Orientation Training (Yhteiskuntaorientaatio, 70 tuntia) fulfills the national requirement under the Integration Act. The program follows the official structure and materials from Yhteiskuntaorientaatio.fi and is
adapted linguistically and culturally for different learner groups.

Extended Civic Orientation Program (40 hours)
Our Extended Civic Orientation Program (40 hours) is designed for learners who already
have basic knowledge of Finnish society and want to strengthen their understanding and
practical readiness for employment, education, and civic participation. It bridges short
modules and the full 70-hour course, offering depth, flexibility, and applied learning.

Modular Civic Orientation Courses (2–10 hours)
Our Modular Civic Orientation Courses provide targeted, short-format learning options lasting 2 to 10 hours, ideal for individuals, small groups, or partner organizations. These modules focus on specific themes of integration and can be selected and combined according to participants’ needs.

Purpose
These short courses serve as refreshers, focused introductions, or complementary learning opportunities for newcomers and organizations working in integration.
Customized Consulting and Workshops
We provide custom-designed sessions for municipalities, NGOs, employers, and community organizations. These may include one-day session or multi-day programs focusing on specific integration or multicultural themes.

All customized workshops are built collaboratively with partners to match their target audience, objectives, and preferred delivery mode.
Literacy Training
Our Literacy Training Service is designed for adult immigrants who have limited or no reading and writing skills in any language. This training provides the foundational skills needed for communication, learning, and everyday participation in Finland. It can form part of an individual’s official integration plan (kotoutumissuunnitelma) under the Integration Act.
Who the training is for
Adults who: have recently moved to Finland and are in the process of integration; cannot read or write in their own language or do not know the Latin alphabet; need basic literacy skills before starting Finnish language studies; require a flexible and supportive learning environment.
What you will learn
• Reading and writing in the Latin alphabet
• Basic Finnish vocabulary for daily communication
• Oral interaction in simple real-life situations
• Basic numeracy and mathematical skills
• Digital literacy (typing, simple online forms, using devices)
• Understanding practical everyday texts (signs, forms, receipts, short messages)
• Study skills and confidence for further learning
Scope and duration
We offer a flexible, progressive program of approximately 120 hours. Duration and intensity are tailored to initial assessment and group pace, and align with literacy training guidelines in adult education.
Learning formats
• Blended learning (recommended): classroom sessions plus online support
• Fully online learning (for remote participants)
• Individual instruction (for learners needing intensive guidance)
Training can be provided for individuals or groups anywhere in Finland, in collaboration with municipalities, NGOs, or educational institutions.
Available in multiple languages. Instruction is led by bilingual trainers or supported by interpreters, ensuring that participants receive clear guidance in both Finnish and their own language.
